Christmas balls...

 If I haven't already said so......I have hands down the best girlfriends EVER!I have not been able to get out of the house so they come to visit me!!! Last night we made Christmas balls. Yes, I said balls and they turned out fantastic!!!

Dear Mr. Pain in my back.....

Since October 9th I have been home in bed trying to get you to go away!

 To get in well enough shape that I can return to work.

A cortisone dose pack,

2 spinal injections,

3 weeks in bed

&

a cortisone injection in my back and nothing!

As of today, you are still here and still not better.

You now have decided to take up residence in my left leg and you radiate down to my foot.

What is it going to take for you to get the hell up out of here man?

I can't hardly feel my feet and the you hurt so bad that my pain meds are only taking a little of the edge off.

I am missing everything due to you and I am so sad about it.

I can't see any of my babies in their costumes and I am so sad:(.

Not to mention, unless Dr. Pepper makes me a pallet on the front porch, I will not be able to see the

trick-o-treaters either.

I am so over you so please move on and never return!

Cutest Minnie ever!

My sister found the most precious little Minnie Mouse costume for my niece. Last year she was a monkey. I mean I know that I am partial but I think she might be the cutest Minnie ever!

I love Halloween! I love to see all the little kids get SO excited about how much they have in their bags. I think it has a lot to do with the fact that I use to get so very excited too. When the night was over I would dump my bag out onto the living room floor and separate it all. I would love to see how many of each kind I would get. Silly isn't it?! My mom would always eat a Snickers...they were her favorite.....mine were the sweet tarts!

Dr. Pepper's was called "dem bonz" ha ha ha ( we look for them every time we go shopping)

A great big fat cheeseburger with jalepenos and crinkle cut fries!

3. What would you say is one of your weirdest quirks?

 

twirling my hair, honestly I don't even realize I am doing it most of the time and soemtimes I can get both hands going...strange isn't it?

4. What color do you mainly wear?

I love it and I think you should wear at least one thing red in your everyday attire!

5. Always have to say everything that is on your mind or never speak again?

I always say what I am thinking!

Back pain is a real pain in the back!

A few years ago while I was working at a nursing home I had a man fall on me and injure my back really bad. I knew if he fell that he would break his hip and it would be down hill from there so I figured that I would cushion his fall. He was the sweetest man. His name was Frank but we all called him Uncle Frank. He would sing me show tunes and tell the best stories. He was a great big man too, like 6'5" kind of big s that falling on me at 5'0" didn't go over so well.  I went through extensive therapy and was out of work for quite some time. While in the therapy they taught me to help my back by strengthening my core. After that pain, I would pretty much do anything not to have to go through that again so I did just what they asked of me and I started really paying close attention to working on my core.  Needless to say I will not be following her anytime soon!

I wonder what she was doing to figure out she could get in that position anyway? ha ha

Two weeks ago today I was at my sweet baby nieces birthday and I couldn't resist but picking her up when she asked.  Could you resist this precious little face?

Well, apparently I moved all wrong at some point because ever since I have had the worst back pain and it runs down my leg and into my foot.

UGH!

The worse part is that today is my nephews party and I can't go do to the pain. I can't hardly stand and when I sit it makes the pain worse that radiates down my leg into my foot. My heart is broken I hate missing anything for them! I was going to paint faces for my sweet little Sam's big day! Plus, my sister throws the greatest birthday parties!I sure hope this gets better soon. So far after 2 weeks of bed rest as well as a spinal injection......nothing seems to be working:(.
